At HM Hospitales, sustainability management has been a reality for a long time. Our purpose, our mission, the values, the decalogue and the principles on which we base the management of the entire organization have driven us to mitigate our negative impact on the environment, to manage risks and to maximize our positive impact, with a clearly social purpose and with a long-term vision. Our progress to date puts us in a suitable position to adapt to the most current regulatory frameworks on ESG, to speak frankly about how the activities and management we carry out are naturally aligned with the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs, and thus to continue contributing that value to society.
Sustainability, in the broad sense of ESG criteria, is a factor to consider that provides transparency and reliability to society as a whole. Taking into account the ever-increasing importance of sustainability and within the framework of the CSRD Directive, we have included sustainability as a strategic line within the 2024–2026 Strategic Plan.
