Ethics Committees 

The CEAS is responsible for advising and supporting users and healthcare and administrative staff in resolving ethical conflicts that arise during healthcare services. It also focuses on protecting patients’ rights and humanizing healthcare, thus contributing to improving the quality of care.

The CEEA evaluates the ethical aspects of scientific research, teaching and professional training that involve animals. It ensures compliance with regulations on the protection of animals in experimentation and other scientific purposes, including teaching.

The CEIm is a multidisciplinary committee that protects the rights, safety and well-being of participants in biomedical research. It offers public assurance through a review of research documentation, considering the perspectives of laypersons, particularly patients and patient organizations.
