There is also brachytherapy, which involves placing radioactive sources directly into or near the tumor to deliver high doses of radiation to the tumor while minimizing the surrounding healthy tissues’ exposure to radiation. Finally, we use adaptive radiotherapy, adapting the radiotherapy treatment plan to the changes in the tumor during the procedure to ensure that the tumor receives the optimal dose of radiation at all times.
