What is podiatry?

Podiatry is essential for health care of the feet and for preventing complications in people with diseases such as diabetes. At HM Hospitales, we take care of the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of foot and ankle problems. Our goal is to maintain the health and well-being of the feet, allowing people to walk and perform their daily activities free from pain and limitations.

Our podiatrists treat a wide variety of conditions, including bunions, hammer toes, heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, diabetic foot, ingrown toenails, nail fungus, and sports injuries of the foot and ankle. They use different techniques, including surgery, orthotics (insoles and foot supports), pharmacotherapy, and physical therapy. If you are experiencing any discomfort in your feet or need a check-up, don’t hesitate to book an appointment with our podiatry service.
