What does the Unit treat?

At the Comprehensive Neuroscience Center of HM Hospitales, Neuropsychology focuses on the study of the relationship between the brain and behavior. We evaluate and treat cognitive, emotional, and behavioral alterations resulting from brain damage or dysfunction.

Who is it for?

This Unit is aimed at:

Patients: Individuals with acquired brain injury (traumatic brain injury, stroke, brain tumor), neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis), developmental disorders (ADHD, autism), or other neurological or psychiatric conditions that affect cognitive function.
Family members and caregivers: Those who seek to better understand the cognitive and emotional difficulties of their loved ones and learn strategies to provide support.
